Brian Wilson
Brian Wilson is most known as the leader of the Beach Boys, which consisted of him, his cousin, his two brothers, and their friend. Brian was the oldest and most intelligent of the three Wilson brothers (Brian, Carl and Dennis). Many of his songs are classic beach-lovers songs. However, the way Wilson arranges them with the harmonies is just amazing. Beach Boys are often mistaken for the team Jan and Dean, and the main reason for this is that Wilson wrote some of their songs. Although it has been about 500 years since he started his career, Wilson is still around while his brothers Carl and Dennis are resting in peace.
Chuck Berry
One of the greatest songwriters in Rock ‘n’ Roll history is certainly Chuck Berry. He wrote some of the greatest rock and roll songs of all time. People have done covers of his songs during the 50s, 60s, 70s, and even the 80s and 90s, and even today they are still doing it. The songs Berry wrote include “Rock and Roll Music,” “Roll over Beethoven,” and “Johnny B. Goode,” and that is just the top of the iceberg. Nobody could tell that such an icon would live for such a very long time.

Some of you may be surprised that Springsteen on the list, but we think that he deserves to be here. Springsteen is an idol of many people. He has wrote so many great song which you can probably listen to and enjoy any time any day. It is also important to note that everything Springsteen does is completely original. However, there is a lot of influence from past artists in the music, but you have to admit that Springsteen is a legend in Rock ‘n’ Roll. It is no wonder people call him “The Boss,” since many of his albums are just timeless classics.
Paul Simon
Paul Simon is truly one great musician, actor and songwriter. Simon’s music is so heartwarming. He worked with Art Garfunkel, and this duo has made the timeless song called “Bridge over Troubled Water,” before the two of them split. Two of them both had great careers, but Paul was without doubt the better songwriter, because he is claimed to be one of the greatest songwriters of all time. There is no way you can go wrong with his songs, since they bring a tear to your eye. This guy definitely deserves to be on this list.

Bob Dylan is a genius when it comes to songwriting. He has been writing songs since he was in college. He is, in fact, probably most known for his songwriting. Dylan has started his career in the early 60s, and since then he makes brilliant music. “Like a Rolling Stone” is his signature song, which was a mind-blower with clocking in at 6 minutes length and insane instrumentation, which was great effort for 1965. Bob Dylan is the most influential rock artist of all time, apart from the Beatles, of course. Just like many other great songwriters, his songs were covered by other artists. There is doubt that it’s hard to top Dylan. He is definitely one of the greatest figure of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
