It is time to remove stains from the oven. If you don’t want to use harsh products full of all sorts of chemicals, we will try to help you with a few little tricks.
1. Steam as a solution
With the help of water it’s easy to clean the oven. Fill the oven with water and turn on the oven to 390 degrees.
Steam will clean the grease that you later just need to ‘pick up’ using the cloth. If your oven is not too dirty, the dirt can be removed by sprinkling the oven with water and switch it on for a few minutes.
2. Salt and lemon
Cleaning and disinfecting without chemicals is possible with a combination of salt and lemon. Cut lemon into slices, and along with salt put them in the oven with water. Turn on the oven and allow the water to evaporate.
3. Baking soda and vinegar
To clean more stubborn grease inside the oven, try baking soda. Mix it with water and brush the oven and leave it for a few hours. After that, spray with white vinegar, alcohol and leave for some time. Later, clean all dirt using a damp cloth. After each cleaning leave the oven open for a few minutes so all the possible smells evaporate.
When you have already did all the hard work, try to keep the oven clean. The best thing you can do is to clean the oven after every use, and even better would be to place one sheet of aluminum foil on the bottom of the oven. When the sheet is soiled, just replace it with another. This way the oven will stay clean for longer.
